How much do your puppies cost?
The price of our puppies varies based on demand, breeding for a particular litter and sex of the puppy. Please see the "Goldens Puppies" or "Flat Coat Puppies" pages for up to date pricing on each litter or pup.
Where are you located?
Our beautiful farm is located in Northwest Ohio, about 30 minutes from Toledo. Too far to drive? Check out our "Shipping" options.
Are your parent dogs health tested?
All of the dogs we use for breeding have OFA certified hips, heart, elbows, patellas and dentition, some have additional genetic testing for ichtiosis, PRA and PRA-prcd.

Do your dogs have Champion Bloodlines?
Please see our "Litters", "Ladies" and "Gentlemen" pages for our Goldens, and "Litters", "Ladies" and "Gentlemen" pages for our Flat Coats for the special hang tags which are links to each dog’s pedigree and health clearances. 
Our dogs are all OFA hip, heart, elbow and patella certified. We do additional genetic testing as it applies to the breed and is available.
Do you ship puppies?
Yes, because we are USDA licensed and inspected, we are able to offer shipping. We have several options for families who live too far away to visit our farm. Please see our "Shipping" page, or contact us for details.
Where does the name "Thistledown Farm" come from?
Our farm is about 150 years old! It was in pretty rough shape when we bought it twelve years ago and began nursing it back to life.
Each year we still pull up hundreds of the prickly plants that gave us its name!
